You will join Xtime's engineering team as a software engineering team member
to focus on building out our expanding software suite, including our
integration and reporting framework. This is a classic software development
position within a product-oriented company. The main skill desired is the
ability to solve complex problems quickly in an elegant fashion. You must be
skilled in a number of programming languages, including Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and
Python, and must have familiarity with integration, reporting, and
web-application frameworks.
You must be an energetic, hard-working self-starter with a track record of
learning new technologies quickly. Recent CS graduates from local universities

Requirements:
* BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
* 2+ years experience building web applications in Java and Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL)

Senior Database Engineer

for Oracle database development and performance tuning. You will function
primarily as an engineer on the product development team, but you will also
play a key role in database administration and IT infrastructure.

candidate solutions clearly, and implement the selected solution with
production-quality code in one of a number of languages (SQL, PL/SQL, Java,
Python). You must be an energetic, hard-working self-starter who can

Requirements:
* BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years experience:
o Developing and maintaining 24x7 OLTP Oracle applications
o Developing and maintaining 24x7 OLAP reporting applications
o Using Oracle performance tuning tools (STATSPACK, tkprof) in 9i
and (AWR, ADDM) in 10g
o Developing non-trivial PL/SQL code using Oracle 9i/10g features
o Refactoring application and database designs to improve
performance
* 3+ years experience:
o Designing and maintaining load-balanced Apache/J2EE
web/application servers
o Using Java performance profiling tools
o Developing with Python and Java
* 2+ years experience:
o Administering Oracle 9i and/or 10g databases on a Linux platform

Product Manager

We are seeking a Product Manager to play a hands-on role in the definition and
enhancement of existing Xtime products, as well as to help create future
products. This is a key position in the company, coordinating efforts and
communication among development, QA, support, and sales and providing
leadership on product, business, and market definition. You will lead efforts
to build our products by working with our customers, our consulting group, our
support team, and our sales team to define market requirements. In addition,
you will work with our engineering team to create functional specifications,
to create product release schedules, and to ensure that product is delivered
to the marketplace in a uniformly professional manner.
Requirements:
* BS/MS in an engineering discipline
* 3-6 years of work experience building commercial web-based software products
* Experience leading product development teams, creating product plans and
MRDs, hitting release dates, and planning multiple product releases
* Record of successful product launches to enterprise customers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal/leadership skills in working
with multiple functional areas
* Ability to design product to meet company strategic and financial goals
* Experience in any of the following enterprise software markets:
Automotive Retail
CRM
Call Center systems
Business Intelligence
* Experience in B2C Internet markets
Desirables:
* Experience developing web-based software that is tightly integrated with
other systems
* Working knowledge of SQL
* Experience working in both start-up environments and larger companies
* An engineering degree or other analytical degree
* An MBA from a top program
